The region’s fourth Public Service Career Expo took place Nov. 3-4, 2021. This free, virtual event was designed to help middle and high-school students explore high-demand and rewarding career opportunities in local government. With support from The Volcker Alliance’s Government-to-University Initiative and The DeBruce Foundation, 17 cities and counties across the Kansas City region co-sponsored the expo. The event featured locally-produced, professional videos and live interactive sessions showcasing 10 different public sector career areas.
