Register your school today for the Career Expo 2021 featuring 10 public sector career areas in the Kansas City metro area, such as fire/EMS, law enforcement, corrections, public works, parks and recreation, information technology, public administration, human services, courts, legal and community development.

The Career Expo 2021 will:

• Introduce students from grades 6-12 to a wide-variety of rewarding career opportunities available in city and county government.
• Highlight the skills and education needed to pursue various public sector career paths.
• Inspire students to  explore public service careers through local opportunities, such as job shadowing, internships and mentorships.
• Demonstrate how public service careers give back to the community.

During the Career Expo 2021, students will:

• Attend a variety of sessions, each highlighting a specific career area within the public sector.
• View highly engaging videos that provide a glimpse into the sights and sounds of life in the public sector.
• Interact with local public service professionals through the virtual platform.
